Hi Miranda! I am pretty certain that Colorado has established regulations to ensure safe staffing levels in hospitals, including Med/Surg units in Denver. I found this statistic on the Colorado General Assembly's website that: " a certain act, I think that was established in September 2022 requires the department to notify a hospital if the hospital's number of staffed beds exceeds 80%."
