SOS shifts
So if “Sara” picks up a shift on Thursday that is for the coming Saturday morning, and I get a SOS text for that same shift Friday night. You gone tell me I’m going to be making the same as “SARA”? This was my first shift picking up on Nursa in over a year! Last time I checked last min shifts got paid more or a bonus! They then turned around and sent a SOS for Sunday morning for a shift that had already started and the pay was THE SAME! 😂 how is Nursa allowing this! I make more money at my regular facility I’m hired at!

Payout
I’m extremely frustrated… In the app it offers, once you work 3 shifts you qualify for instant pay. What they don’t mention is it’s not vastly available in most states. It’s gravely irritating and frustrating that it offers pay is done on Mon and Wed then takes 2-3 days for it to appear in your acct. What I have learned is, as the medical staffer, we are expected to show up promptly and complete the shift to the facility expectations. However, they can take there time to complete the shift report. I worked a shift, it’s now been a week ago and it just now has been processed but I still have to wait 3 days for it to hit my acct. Who picks the photos for facilities?
I saw a facility I haven't seen very often or they are relatively new. Their facility photo is a photo of the Carnegie Village Retirement Village in Belton, Missouri. Carnegie Nursing Home is a far cry from that 5 star facility. If anything that made me laugh, but it is a bit deceiving.

Cancelled Shifts
I can on here to say that after working for Nursa for a year things have gone downhill with them. I get “accepted” for a NOC shift and don’t look at other options because I’ve been “accepted “ yet, hours before my shift I am cancelled! This is happening 100% of the time! These facilities are making me a back up plan obviously and Nursa needs to step up and put an end to this game! After being cancelled so many times from a facility I decided to cancel my shifts with them and then Nursa dings me for it and put a hold on my account. This isn’t right. I’ll be looking at other companies where the facility is held accountable and not hitting me with being “irresponsible.”

Requesting shifts and getting facility approval
Hi there… I’m new to Nursa. Just wondering how long it normally takes for a facility to accept and/or deny your request for shifts. I put in a week ago for 3 shifts and have done my profile work and messaged the facility with no response. What other steps do I need to take to make sure I get the shifts I requested to be accepted?

Hourly seems to be LOWERED across the board
I’ve been w Nursa over 2 years. I loved the competitive hourly pay I used to tell other nurses about it. Now, it’s disheartening to see that Nursa has now incorporated almost same hourly pay across the board for diff licensing. There are no more bonuses now and SOS texts don’t offer incentives like they use to. What happened? I may have to go back to a regular 8-12 hour nursing job. 😭

Frozen account
I just think it’s unfair when you try to dispute your frozen account and no one reaches out to you one time I had covid and they froze my account I emailed them with my documentation they never un froze me to two days ago I was literally down the street from the facility my tire blew out they froze my account it’s sucks for us that are actually good workers the facility been texting me asking me to work more cause they know I work good I never miss for no reason but Nursa won’t reach back out to me

Shift approval
Hey everybody, I was wondering if anybody else is having trouble getting shifts approved or if it is me?! I know that a company typically wants cover shifts with employees within the company before paying agency, but I've tried to book a large number of shifts but still having trouble. Other discipline shifts
I do not understand why NURSA does not allow LPNs to pick up CNA or CMA shifts as our license covers these roles. I’ve never had this issue with any other agency. For Oklahoma, there are very limited LPN shifts through this agency, which is disappointing, and the option to work in other roles you are legally able to is not allowed.

So I got an email from Nursa team, and told me that they will unfroze my account early. I looked at some shifts and pick up, and my account is still frozen. How long does it takes for an account to be unfrozen?

RECTIFICATION OVER APOLOGY
Whenever I contact NURSA support with an issue, I am met with an apology that is nothing more than a band-aid solution. I have found that there is rarely any accountability, as the issue does not get fixed. When I arrived for a shift, there was no "I have arrived" button on the app. I contacted NURSA support immediately and the agent I spoke to assured me I should have no problem with instant pay since he manually entered my clock in time. Upon finishing my shift, I submitted my shift report. However, I did not receive instant pay. Upon contacting NURSA support again, the agent informed me that the shift report preceded the tech team manually adding the "I have …

Response time
One thing that this app is terrible for is the response time. I never know when I’ll get a response. Even when the job is posted within less than an hour of me offering to pick up. I’ve had to end up picking up with another agency that has better protocols for picking up shifts. They have people I can call and confirm with as well. On Nursa any messages I’ve sent never get responses back. So my suggestion is that Nursa provides on call numbers with people that actually pick up the phone so I can get a response back on whether a shift is available so or not.

Blocked account
My account is blocked due to DACS not being completed. I finished this paperwork weeks ago. I have called, chatted, and emailed. I have got the same answer I have to wait for a different department to email me. Still weeks with no help. Frustrated not being able to pick up or get any help.

Ratings
At the end of every shift, we get asked to rate and comments on the facility just worked at. Where do our rating and comments go? I would love to see what the facilities get rated from other Nursa workers. Just like support had told me, we get rated but we're unable to see our rating from facilities just yet.
