Miranda Belcher Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Question - would you rather work with 3 hardcore dedicated nurses and short-staffed or with 6 bad nurses? When I say bad, I don't mean their breath, I mean they don't help out, hide on their phones, and don't pull their weight. I know my answer... 3 1 Quote
Anonymous Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Hardcore, dedicated nurses and short-staffed, as long as they pull their weight! Quote
Kenya Hurd Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I'll gladly take the 3 staff nurses. Work is hard enough, negative people only make it harder. 4 1 Quote

I completely agree! Give me the all-star three, and we can run circles around the 6 any day. No matter who is assigned to what patients, if the nurse in charge of their patients isn't taking care of them, not only is it unsafe, but naturally, the rest of the team will chip in with call lights, pain meds, IV bags, bathroom assistance, etc. to be sure that patient is still safe. 2 Quote
