Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has ever taken a break from nursing? It's something that has been weighing on my mind lately. I've been a nurse for a few years now and while I love my job, I am feeling a bit burnt out. I'm considering taking a break to recharge and refocus. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? If so, how did you handle it and was it helpful in the long run? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Miranda, I love the idea of being a freelance writer. I imagine how grueling bedside care can be! Nurses are resilient people for sure.
