Laila Ighani
National Nurses United (NNU), the nation’s largest union of registered nurses, announced its endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for president. Some of the reasons the union provided include the following: Vice President Harris supports working people and families, stands up for union workers, is a powerful advocate in key healthcare fights, including the fight to defend and restore reproductive health rights, and has a career-long track record of backing legislation to protect patients and nurses. What are your thoughts? Will Kamala Harris address healthcare needs effectively and fairly? Will she have nurses' best interests in mind?
Miranda Belcher
I am very apolitical, but I hope that if she is elected, she shows more humanity for the nation than the decisions that she made in California to fight to Keep Nonviolent Prisoners Locked Up. https://prospect.org/justice/how-kamala-harris-fought-to-keep-nonviolent-prisoners-locked-up/
