Canceling Shifts - 2 week ban

Ability to cancel shifts without being banned for 2 weeks.  Shifts are being snatched up so fast it shouldn't matter if you cancel a few days ahead of time.

In my opinion, I agree with it. That's one of the top 3 things I like about Nursa. They hold you accountable. All other agencies just let it slide and gives the whole team a bad name. That's why I switched teams because facilities are less likely to cancel in fear of having "another NCNS." or being selected for a shift, plus they can see our rating and reliability.

I have needed to cancel shifts due to requesting 3-4 shifts like the app suggests. I ended up one time being scheduled for 24 hours with only 30 minutes in between.  (Since ine of fhe facilities had start times on fhe 30 minute(630 instead of 6), which is why the app let it thru. At times like these, I definitly would like the ability to cancel.

What about when you select a shift they CANCEL and then re post they need the help? Where's the facilities accountability? Or even requested shifts just sitting waiting for a reply. I enjoy working through nursa but I feel like it's a double standard when it comes to employees rather than facilities.

@Nicolette The facilities also have a cancellation policy actually! It's hard to see from the clinician side, but we hold the facilities that utilize the Nursa App to a high standard as well and even have full teams that help coach them on best practices and behaviors. We never want to leave you guys hanging and try to aid the facilities to be responsive and always working towards being better 🙌🏻

Left me hanging for 2 weeks on my 2 week ban?  I guess I enjoyed my 2 week vacation anyways.  Neither one of us needed the money.  Looks like I'm back in business and able to request shifts again.  Too bad there aren't any available.
