Hello everyone I have just started with Nursa and so far, I am loving it. I really hope that daily pay would be a payment option.

I would LOVE if this were to happen. Its fine with me to even have a fee in order to get to my money faster. Anything would help like twice weekly.

Also adding some comments from @Leslie in another thread for visibility:

"Please Allow Daily Pay!!!!

It hurts us to have to wait  two weeks to be paid! Please allow your hardworking employees Daily pay so while we work so hard we can have access to our earned income immediately. Thank you so much!"

Daily pay! Yes! Hope it happens soon! It would also recruit more clinicians as this is the only app that doesn’t have it.

It would bring more people in...not always the best thing to have competition for shifts...right now it's not an issue but when times were tough you didn't want more workers  in the pool.

After working with 37 patients last night and submitting my time report then going into my wallet...there are 3 shifts that should be paid today which aren't going to be paid until what???Monday?!?!?

It makes me want to cry. I HAVE MADE COMMITMENTS BASED ON WHAT WAS TOLD TO US. Now, it's not just me getting screwed but those that I can't pay for their services!!! This is based on what??? The facility not verifying my presence? Our locations are on and monitored for a reason...because they decide not to verify means I don't get paid???? This is not the first time. I have put in a lot of hours not to include a2 hour drive each way for nothing??????!??! Makes me want to just stay home if it means the same thing. Wow!!!! Wtf?????

So...to clarify...i was under the impression that as long as i finished the shift before the deadline to be paid on monday or wednesday...that i would be...apparently, what i found out is that the facilities have 48 hours to verify, which must happen before you get paid...this doesnt seem right. We did the job. We have been accounted for because if we werent there, the facility would cancel us...whats left to verify? I can see if the hours didnt match up to what we were booked for ie stayed past the time we were booked or late arriving to the shift that in those instances its reasonable to have the need to verify the discrepancy.
to give the facilities 48 hours to delay to pay us is just opening the door for them to hold on to the money we earned. I mean why wouldnt they???? This seems more if an issue for nursa admin/accounting to concern themselves with...we shouldnt have to be in the middle of that....i have already sent texts to staffing to verify my shifts so i can be paid...i shouldnt have to even be concerned with that. Its not our department!!!!

@Kimberly Griffin4804500565 The facility has always had 48 business hours to verify the hours worked for your shift and any unpaid breaks. This has been our policy, even before fast pay. We need to verify the hours as clinicians often work hours that vary from the posted timeframe of the shift. Some examples of this would be if a clinician was stuck in traffic on the way to work and arrived late or if a clinician had to stay later than scheduled to give a report. We also need to ensure that any unpaid breaks are accounted for. If the facility does not confirm your hours within 48 business hours, we verify your hours for you so that payment will not be delayed. Submitting your shift report on time is the quickest way to expedite payment. I have included a payment schedule below. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need any additional assistance. You can always reach our support team at 801-695-9609 or support@nursa.com. Support is available seven days a week from 6 AM- 10 PM MST.

@Kimberly Griffin4804500565, All shifts that are verified ( Shifts are verified when we have the clinician and facility shift reports.)  Sunday at 11:59 PM are processed for payroll on Monday, and you can expect payment on Wednesday. All shifts verified by Tuesday at 11:59 PM are processed for payroll on Wednesday, and you can expect payment on Friday.  I will follow up with you via email on Monday and confirm what payment you can expect this Wednesday.

I do have a question. Once we fill out our time, and the facility does as well, do we have to go back and verify again? This is when the time needs adjusted for whatever reason.

It’s unfair that we have to wait for our pay because the facility don’t verify the shift. We verify it on time why can’t we get it verified by the facility on time or even at all.? AlSo there will be times that we will work multiple facilities and  our pay is split up according to facility verification. it’s ridiculous how this works.

When facilities don’t verify the report on time or at all the ones go in and do that facility a favor end up getting screwed. I use Nursa as my full-time job. I pick  my shift in accordance to payday and my bills. When a facility decides to not verify I can’t stick to  my budget and I can’t pay my bills on time. They should have until the next day and I don’t even care if it’s a weekend they should have until next year to verify if they don’t then we should get paid because it really is screwing my bills up

Thanks @Hljackson for letting us know your experience, when it comes to pay, consistency is definitely something that is valued. While currently a shift is auto-verified within 2 business days, the delays this can cause have definitely been a pain point for most. Good news, faster options for pay are in the process, so keep an eye out!
