Join us every Tuesday from 1-2 PM (MT) for a live Q&A! New & seasoned Nursa users welcome. Zoom link HERE.
  2. Speaking up is important! I'm sure that sets the precedent and a great example for your coworkers as well!
  3. Thought this was funny and wanted to share!!
  4. Fanny packs are the best!! But yes, big pockets are also great!
  5. Oh thank goodness nothing has happened to you yet! That is scary about the unethical procedures used, though. How do you combat this, or do you sometimes feel helpless in these situations?
  6. Clinicians are always faced with the constant fear of losing their license... has there even been a time you thought in the moment you were going to lose it? What happened?
  7. I hate that the hospitals are being cheap. In the end it's just more detrimental for them.
  8. 11 strikes in 16 years?!? I asked the right person lol! I love that you talked about just obtaining knowledge, even if it doesn't align with your personal beliefs. It's always good to be well-versed and knowledgable. I've never participated in a strike myself but why do you feel like so many of the nurses showing up to strikes are not super bright??
  9. Wow that's wild! Also curious to know what the demands were
  10. Has anyone ever participated in a hospital strike and open to sharing about their experience?
  11. I love the idea of tuition reimbursement! Offering scholarship as well is also a great option for a benefit. Nurses are commonly wanting to progress in their education or career, so this is great.
  12. Amazing! Thank you for your incredible service, Abigayl!
  13. This is a great question! And very applicable since Nursa is really rolling out lots of hospital shifts. From what I've gathered, you need a certain amount of hospital experience to work particular units, which is the first step! Then you'll just want to upload more credentials to your profile than you would long-term care shifts. After that you'll do a shadow shift/orientation 🙂 pretty easy!
  14. Thought we could all have a good laugh at this!
  15. HOSPITAL NEWBIES! What can be the scariest/most intimidating thing for you when you are working at a new hospital??
  16. Doctor: I have some bad news and some very bad news. The lab called with your test results and said that you have 24 hours to live. Patient: 24 hours! That's terrible! What's the very bad news? Doctor: I've been trying to reach you since yesterday.
