  1. I work in a facility through Nursa that has a designated hall for covid patients and unvaccinated. They still need to do their week of isolation. So that's why they want thier staff vaccinated to be able to work with all patients/residents.
  2. I see it from many perspectives. I understand why they would want agency on covid over their own staff due to risk of becoming sick needing to be out of work. Needing to hire more agency. Since I worked a covid unit yesterday, without knowing prior. Since there wasn't a covid sticker on the shift. When I got my assignment, I had called Nursa to have them contact the facility to add the hazard pay difference. The facility doesn't offer covid pay since the CDC has stated there is no longer a pandemic. I still think they should be able to use the covid sticker, so we know what we are showing up for. I personally know a few clinicians that refuse and wouldn't even pick up the covid shifts.
  3. How to file, deductions, and everything under the sun. This is my first time being an independent contractor. I appreciate what you're doing for the team!
  4. I think that would be excellent idea and very helpful were you thinking over a webinar or putting together something in person?
  5. I 100% agree with everything you've said about the app issues to the pay! I've also called support when I was experiencing these issues along with using the beta version.
  6. @Krishna Floisand Do you know if there is an answer to this? Add on question is, if it is an anonymous review wouldnt the timing they receive it, wouldn't that give the facility scheduler a lead/tip on which clinician might have left it?
  7. It's all how you leave an impression, I just joined two months ago. I've worked over 80 shifts, In September I only had 5days off. I've done so many doubles and single shifts and there is only 3 active facilities in my area! But this month alot more people have joined. But honestly best advice from a 5 star clinician.. fix up your profile, add a phone, reach out to the facility/scheduler introduce your self and when you go to work get involved, build relationships with residents and staff. I hope you the best.
  8. I think it's great facilities get to choose what is best for the residents and facility. It could be hard work and first impressions that gives them the true power of who is coming to work in their facility. Facilities like to keep familiar faces so the residents can feel more comfortable, since it's "always" a new face. There are other platforms that allow the option to instantly book a shift.
  9. Does canceling effect start ratings, or are S.O.S alarts and star rating separate?
