I sometimes wonder how the states are doing at meeting the staffing requirements...I think in the ICU settings, they are doing better, but perhaps still struggling on MedSurg and general floors. Those are just my suspicions.

This is such a complex and controversial issue! Of course, staffing ratios can protect both patients and nurses. On the other hand, many facilities argue that imposed ratios would force them to reduce beds, limiting access to essential healthcare services. Those resources you guys shared were great! Thanks!

Thanks for sharing the article! You can actually look for the information on each state. I think it is essential. Has anybody had any issues with safe staffing ratios?
