What's an obvious sign someone has been working too much?

For me, a dedicated Lancome skincare routine for the last couple of years with a hydration serum, a hydraulic acid for cell renewal, a regenerative under-eye cream, and a night cream has kept the lines at bay thus far! However, the extra pounds of weight I am carrying also keeps them wrinkles for show - staying chubby my friends, and be forever young 😁

I've come across the term SRNA a few times, but I'm not entirely sure what it entails. Can someone explain the duties of an SRNA? And how their salary compares to other nursing roles? I'm also curious about the career path and how it can lead into more advanced levels of nursing.

Let's celebrate sobriety and victories. This month, we celebrate National Recovery Month, a month to promote awareness of substance abuse disorders. In particular, we celebrate those who have recovered or are recovering, one day at a time, from addiction. We also seek to reduce the stigma surrounding substance abuse. Recovery is possible for everyone, and celebrating every moment of our lives with the right support can help us recover. Do you know anyone who is in this battle? How about sharing some stories of courage and success?

What's the weirdest thing you've had to explain to a patient
Jenna Nurse posted a question in General Questions
Hey there! I want to hear it all, the good, the bad, the hilarious. What's the weirdest thing you've had to explain to a patient? -
I remember crying after looking at some undernourished babies at the hospital. I had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom. Other situations could also be a trigger, like a difficult patient, or a situation that I wouldn't know how to handle. What about you? Have you ever cried on the job?

Did you know it's National Atrial Fibrillation Month?
Miranda Belcher posted a question in Community Questions
September is National Atrial Fibrillation Month, a time to raise awareness about this common heart condition. It's crucial to educate ourselves on its risks and management strategies. Let’s work together to spread the word and support those affected by AFib! ❤️💔 Learn more about it [here](https://www.stopafib.org/afib-news-events/news/why-is-september-atrial-fibrillation-awareness-month/). I myself have AFib and need to take medication for it 3 times per day, or my heart flutters and runs above the normal range around 120. I wish I wasn't so addicted to caffeine, as that certainly doesn't help! I take my meds with my morning coffee, lol 😆 -
What backpacks would you recommend for nurses?
Jeremy Booher posted a question in Community Questions
Hey guys, I'm looking to surprise my girlfriend who's a nurse with a new backpack. I know she's always complaining about her current one not being durable enough for her busy shifts. Any recommendations for a sturdy and functional backpack for a nurse? I want to make sure she has enough space for all her essentials and maybe even throw in a cute design. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! -
How do you get extra steps in during your work day?
Jenna Nurse posted a question in General Questions

This past weekend, World Alzheimer’s Day, held annually on September 21st, aimed to raise awareness and challenge the stigma surrounding Alzheimer's disease. For nurses, this day reminds them of the crucial role they play in supporting patients and families through compassionate care and early diagnosis. Alzheimer's impacts millions worldwide, and there is no known cure, making the need for specialized care more important than ever. Nurses can make a difference by advocating for education, participating in memory care training, and promoting brain health. Let’s continue to support those living with Alzheimer's and work towards breakthroughs in treatment and care. Do you know somebody with Alzheimer's? Have you worked in memory care?

I feel pretty good, so why check up on my heart and look for problems? This common belief that the absence of symptoms equates to good health can lead to serious health risks, particularly in cardiovascular disease. Regular check-ups and awareness of risk factors are essential for early detection and prevention of potentially life-threatening conditions like silent heart attacks. It is crucial for individuals to seek medical advice even in the absence of overt symptoms to ensure comprehensive cardiovascular health management. Does taking an aspirin a day prevent heart disease? What can nurses do during World Heart Day campaigns to promote heart health check-ups?
