Is it true that nurses want to leave the profession?

Karin Zonneveld

Question

We know that nursing can be difficult and sometimes tiring, apart from the low salaries, the burnout, and more. But is it true that nurses want to leave the profession?

Many nurses choose to stay because they care about their patients and helping other people. What is your individual case? Why are you a nurse? Would you change your job if you could?

I think it depends on the environment in which a nurse works. At the same time, I think per diem nursing can be a great way for nurses to avoid burnout and help healthcare facilities avoid high turnover rates. What do you guys think?
