Bio

I've been a CNA about 6 years now. I started off with working at an assisted living and moved up to being a Med-Tech, then Lead Med-Tech.

I left that job to work in a skilled nursing facility, and learned to be a real CNA. By the end of that job which was probably another year, I went to agency and followed the money. I have taken about 8 months off recently to reevaluate if I want to work in Healthcare.

I love our elder generation. Standards and Morals are a big thing to them. I already miss that with mine.

I'll be going to school to be a pharmacy technician, and eventually a pharmacist.

Medication is my passion, It's knowledge I enjoy learning about. What was once just wanting to tell the residents what medication does what has followed into my personal life where people need medicine for simple things and I'm the first one to find out if they are having a reaction. My best friend has a reaction to Aleve (facial swelling) and also has a reaction to the cold.  It doesn't affect her breathing and we know what she needs to stay away from now.

I got my CNA on my own paid $1500 for the crash course. I pursued being one because I love taking care of people and being of service to them. I have a deep faith in God and am extremely grateful to have a job where I can help people. Being a CNA has always been a honor and a privilege.
