  1. Nursa also needs to hold the facility accountable for them listing correct job description. I went to work for a longterm care facility and wanted me to take care of 60 patients for a 6pm/6am shift. They had two nurses during day no change in acuity or patient needs and got blocked for two weeks for refusing assignment. If it had said in description box care for up to 70 patients I wouldn’t have even applied.
  2. I love the option other apps have after you apply for a shift to approve or deny it. The facility can drag us along waiting days to hours and not able to apply for other positions but it doesn’t protect us clinicians. I’ve also seen the scheduler list multiple post at varying rates for the same time and position. We should also be compensated for being cancelled this app works hard for facilities but doesn’t benefit clinician as far as cancellation and clinical support.
