Where can you go for safety during a hurricane?
If you have an evacuation plan, follow procedures and look for shelter. You need to prepare in advance for evacuation: plan how to get to the shelter, and how to get your family and loved ones there. If you are going to shelter in your home, stay indoors, stay safe in an interior room, closet, or bathroom on the lowest floor of your home, away from windows.
