Krishna Floisand
Are your requests sitting there for too long, not getting scheduled? Which facilities are slower to respond? How long do you normally have to wait?
Marsha E
I'm having the same issue. This will be my first time picking up a shift and the facility has not responded to my message. I'm wondering if I should just cancel my shift.
Krishna Floisand
I would keep requesting shifts, but if they aren't being accepted and you have tried messaging and contacting the facility, you are free to cancel the request. So you don't accidentally get scheduled when you were not aware! Here is what someone else said to a previous question about getting scheduled 1 hour before a shift: On 7/8/2023 at 11:17 AM, JNevarez said: No, because we are 1099 employees, it’s your business to run. It was your responsibility to realize they didn’t accept the shift yet, and you don’t want them to accept the shift last minute so once they don’t accept a shift in your time frame you cancel the shift request. @Marsha E Is this your time trying to pick up a shift as a prn 1099 worker??
