SOS shifts

Shamica Woods

Question

So if “Sara” picks up a shift on Thursday that is for the coming Saturday morning, and I get a SOS text for that same shift Friday night. You gone tell me I’m going to be making the same as “SARA”? This was my first shift picking up on Nursa in over a year! Last time I checked last min shifts got paid more or a bonus! They then turned around and sent a SOS for Sunday morning for a shift that had already started and the pay was THE SAME! 😂 how is Nursa allowing this! I make more money at my regular facility I’m hired at!

This is the same case for RN SOS shifts in Illinois, everywhere else gets huge bonuses for sos shifts but we get nothing but the original rate.

Thanks @Shamica Woods for bringing this to our attention! Usually the SOS shifts have a higher rate or bonus so I will share with the Nevada team.

Hi Krishna,

Same issue in California concerning no SOS bonus payments. I have worked 2 SOS shifts and expect to be paid " up to 40% more" as advertised.  This has been reviewed by the accounts manager according to expert Tonya. I have an email from Tonya who said that the accounts manager stated she did not approve any bonus In my case. This is unacceptable when SOS shifts are sent out on a daily basis to clinicians, but SOS payments are not being made to us. NURSA will have to immediately resolve these valid labor disputes. Krishna, Will you take this issue to the highest authority so that we receive SOS bonuses owed to us and so that they can authorize publication of SOS and other bonus policies so that we will all be treated with respect and fairness.
