  3. Watch last weeks video Hosted by Krishna Floisand, Community Manager Check out this week's Q&A session, addressing questions and concerns from users, mainly related to accessing healthcare shifts and expanding their service to various regions while encouraging user referrals to facilitate growth. Browse through the questions and transcript below. Have feedback on this session? Want to suggest future group coaching topics? Let us know! Questions Answered Q1: It's not easy to search when you only put in city and state Q2: Thank you so much for creating this Nursa app. I did not see a lot of facilities in the Seattle area please if it possible we need to work in this area. Q3: I’m still having a hard time using the app I’m not sure how to find shifts in my region/city? Q4: Can I get help with logging in to complete my background check? Q5: Are there plans to expand the NJ facility portfolio? Q6: Is pay changing? Q7: Do you have a headquarters here in Tucson? If so, where is it located and what's the phone number? Q8: Facilities in San Antonio? Transcript Krishna: Hello, everyone! Good morning or afternoon, and happy Friday. I apologize if I sound a bit under the weather, so please bear with any coughs or sneezes. I'll start by introducing myself briefly and then address some of the questions we received this week. We'll also send out a recording later to cover any unanswered questions. Feel free to ask follow-up questions in the community, and we'll provide the link. My name is Krishna, and I oversee this community site. I've been with Nursa for about a year and a half. We're a relatively young company, just over three years old. Our primary goal is to ensure patients receive the care they need. We all have loved ones who may require medical attention, and we want to ensure they receive quality care, even when life throws curveballs. So, Nursa operates as a technology-driven marketplace, somewhat like Uber or Match.com, to quickly match healthcare professionals with open shifts. Enough about us for now. Let's dive into the questions. If I don't fully address your question, feel free to comment below, and we'll provide more information. I appreciate these questions as we're still growing and establishing our presence. Growing in the healthcare industry can be slow, especially when competing with well-established companies. We understand the need for more shifts, and we're here to help. Our aim is aligned with yours—to connect healthcare professionals with the shifts they desire. Now, let's move on to specific questions. 1️⃣ Someone raised a concern about the ease of searching for shifts using only city and state filters. We understand this concern and are actively working on improving the search experience. Our algorithm often recommends jobs based on your previous preferences, which may not be very helpful if you're new to the platform. I recommend starting with minimal filters and adding more as you become more familiar with what you want. Additionally, we've introduced the ability to save your filters for future use, making it easier to find shifts that match your preferences. If you encounter issues with the types of shifts displayed or have ideas for additional search options, please share your suggestions. We're eager to enhance the search functionality. 2️⃣ Someone mentioned a lack of facilities in the Seattle area. We're aware of this and are actively expanding our presence in various regions. Mark is leading efforts in your area, and we're working diligently to onboard more facilities. If you have connections or insights into specific facilities, please use our referral form to recommend them. The more facilities we have, the better we can serve you. Referral Form 3️⃣ If you're having trouble using the app or finding shifts in your region, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We want to ensure that everyone gets the shifts they need for their PRN work. Your location and the demand for healthcare professionals can vary, so it's crucial to communicate any issues so we can address them. 4️⃣ Regarding background checks, our process typically initiates when you request your first shift. If you're eager to get started, but there are no shifts available yet, reach out to us. Depending on your location, we may be able to assist in starting the background check process without requesting a shift. 5️⃣ Expanding in New Jersey is indeed in our plans. We're a relatively new presence in some regions, so it takes time to establish ourselves. Your referrals and recommendations for facilities are invaluable in helping us expand. If you know of facilities or have contacts in your area, please use our referral form to introduce them to us. Referral Form 6️⃣ We understand your concern about pay rates. Competitive compensation is essential, and we aim to provide competitive pay in most markets. If you feel pay rates are decreasing, we'd like to know more about where this is happening so we can address it. Pay rates can vary based on location and facility contracts, but we strive to ensure that you're fairly compensated. Give Feedback 7️⃣ Regarding headquarters, we currently have our main office in Utah. While we're expanding across the nation, we don't have additional headquarters in other locations. You can reach our support team through our usual contact channels for assistance. If you have specific needs or requests for in-person meetings, please let us know, and we'll do our best to accommodate. Contact Support 8️⃣ We are constantly working on expanding our facility network, including in San Antonio. The process can be slow, especially when dealing with large corporate facilities. If you have suggestions or connections to facilities in your area, please use the referral form to provide us with valuable insights and recommendations. Referral Form Thank you for your questions, and if you have more, please feel free to ask. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! We'll be here to assist you. Goodbye!
  4. A common question is asking about badges as a PRN or an "agency" caregiver. As Nursa is a 1099 staffing platform, we currently are not offering badges to clinicians. In full transparency, there can be some red tape around not providing a uniform for clinicians contracted through Nursa, BUT we do have a fellow clinician Faith Harvey who has an Etsy store and makes customized badges. Go check her store out! You can also read her story here: https://nursa.com/blog/spotlight-on-faith-harvey
  5. Have you gone official with your gig-work? Do you use LLC's/Corporations as a PRN caregiver? Let us know your experience below!
