  1. I would agree that the issues with the app are numerous. Was it better before? Yes and no. Is it bad now seeing shifts from Portland Oregon instead of Oklahoma? Yes. Is it bad being banned by a facility because of the placement of the ban button? Yes. I lost $400 last night and you probably did as well.
  2. If that is the case then I may be too far from the facility. I'm in rural Oklahoma and things are sometimes 60 miles away or more.
  3. Apparently the app has the ban button positioned where the person taking the shift could be selected instead of the one that didn't show up. Supposedly Nursa is straightening out the ban by calling the customer, but this is a serious flaw. I will not be taking any more shifts when they are urgent or past the start time until this is fixed. The risk is too great that I will get banned from another facility for just "helping out." I am making this statement based on what I am told by the representatives.
  4. I have SOS shifts enabled. I guess what I need is a text message over a certain dollar amount. The facilities either don't utilize the SOS feature or they don't pay enough to trigger it. I'm not sure which one activates the SOS text message. I've never gotten one.
  5. Not sure why Tiffany doesn't know this, but there is a "Med Aide" category. It is just not set up in the app that way. If a facility posts a "Med Aide" job they post it with the shift sticker Medtech and its a CNA shift. I know this is a bit confusing, but that is how they do it around here. I have seen them double post the same shift with the CNA label and the LPN label to reach the full audience. I'm not sure what would be the least confusing but maybe a change within the app to just post one shift. I wish Nursa would have exclusivity with their customers too. I frequently see facilities post the same shifts on multiple platforms.
  6. 1. An accurate understanding of pay rates and when the highest rate is available on a shift. 2. Proper filtering to select shifts in my state. 3. Can an RN do CNA work? I think so. 4. Text message notifications when facilities post shifts that I prefer. 5. A history of shifts that have been posted and taken. 6. Scheduling for an entire week at a facility if they choose to post like that. I'll think of more, but this is a start.
