  1. I want to share my thoughts on this issue. Most companies that employ contractors avoid attendance policies because they don't want to muddy the line between a 1099 independent contractor and employee labor and the liability of misclassifying an employee. Nursa is the first business I've come across that requires its 1099 independent contractor to adhere to its attendance policy. 
    Why not create an incentive for clinicians? A raffle every month for $500. The amount of raffle tickets a clinician gets depends on numerous factors that Nursa outlines.  Just a thought.
