Why do so many Americans dislike being a nurse?

Jenna Nurse

Question

Hello nursing professionals! I have a question, why do you think so many Americans express dissatisfaction with the nursing profession? What factors do you think contribute to this sentiment, and how can we address these challenges to improve the experience for nurses in the U.S? ?

I guess being a nurse in the US can take a toll on some people. Sometimes nurses are disrespected, and it must be hard to have people thinking less of you because you are a nurse. Maybe we try and create a culture of respect and care for the people who are taking care of us instead of disrespecting them?

What do you think? What are the reasons somebody might dislike being a nurse?
