What's the path of Hurricane Kirk?

Karin Zonneveld

Question

Hurricane Kirk is currently moving northward in the Atlantic and is expected to undergo an extratropical transition as it approaches Europe.

Kirk is moving northwest but is expected to turn north and then northeast over the coming days, impacting Iberia, France, and bringing heavy rainfall to Belgium, the Netherlands, and northern Germany.

While Hurricane Kirk poses no direct threat to land in the U.S., its swells will create dangerous surf conditions that warrant caution for the U.S. East Coast.
