    Why I love Nursa

    What Is Nursa?

Nursa is a technology platform that connects caregiving professionals (RN, LPN, CNA, and more!) with facilities. Our mission is to ensure there is a clinician at the bedside of every patient in need while giving users the choice to work how and when they wanted.

How is Nursa different from an agency or other platforms?

The Nursa platform is different from other platforms you may have used in the past. Facilities post their PRN shift needs, and you are able to look through to see pay and times upfront. You request the shifts for the time and place you want to work. The facility is then able to choose the clinician to work that shift, usually the one that has the credentials they are looking for. Once chosen, this is now the opportunity to show off your skills to build a good reputation with the facility. When you do build a good relationship, this will open more opportunities for you as schedulers often control scheduling at more than one facility building.

    Creating and Filling out Profile

Create and fill out your profile by adding as many credentials as you have. As a clinician in your area, the recommended credentials would be essential credentials + TB test within the last 12 months. Take me to my profile

    Payments and Taxes

For your first 3 shifts, your pay will be weekly. Then you will have the option for the traditional weekly or sign up for Nursa’s instant pay option, Nursa Direct. Set up Wallet to ensure seamless transactions. Ensure your W-9 Tax forms are completed and up to date. Take me to my Wallet

    Background Checks

Your background check will be triggered by requesting your first shift. Once requested expect an email from “do_not_reply@fadv.com” to continue the background process. Request Shifts

    Finding and Requesting Shifts

Go to the “Shifts” page to start requesting a shift. You can utilize filters and become familiar with the schedule page. If you see a shift with a “More Info” button instead of a “Request Shift”, by clicking the “More Info” button you will receive more information through email on how to be able to request shifts at that facility. Request Shifts

    Getting Scheduled

Expect a notification when you're chosen for shifts; be patient as facilities review clinician requests. Make sure you're available when requesting shifts, and feel free to remove requests before you are scheduled. Just keep in mind, more than two cancellations within a rolling 30 days will result in a two-week freeze.

    Clocking in to Clocking Out

Check-in when you arrive on the shift within the app and click “I’m Here”.

To clock-out, you will fill out your shift report with the times worked and noting any breaks as soon as possible after your shift.

Adjust notifications settings allowing texts and emails to ensure notifications on upcoming shifts and SOS shifts.
