If your healthcare license has expired, you cannot request shifts until you get it renewed. It is your responsibility as a clinician to contact your state board of nursing and complete the renewal process.
Hours for renewal must be verified or signed off by a licensed nurse in good standing with the division of occupational and professional licensing.
Because you're an independent contractor and not an employee for Nursa, we cannot sign off on any hours towards your license renewal. However, we can provide you with a record of your work history and income verification in an excel spreadsheet for your reference as needed. This will show the names of the facilities where you have completed hours. You will be responsible for going to those facilities to have an RN/DON sign off on them.
