Removing a Shift Request or Calling Out from a Scheduled Shift

If you can no longer work a shift you've requested, remove your shift request as soon as possible. There is no consequence for removing an unscheduled request.

 

However, if you want to call out from a shift that has been scheduled by a facility, please review our attendance policy here.

 

Note: Should you cancel a shift resulting in your account being frozen, you are still expected to work any scheduled shifts listed on your schedule.

Removing an Unscheduled Shift Request

There is no consequence for removing an unscheduled shift request. 

  1. Tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner
  2. Tap Schedule
  3. Tap Change view and select Coming up
  4. Select the date on the calendar
  5. Below the calendar, tap the Shift Card you'd like to remove the request for
  6. Tap Remove Request trash can icon on the bottom right of the screen 

Calling Out from a Scheduled Shift

If you have already been scheduled and you need to call out from your shift, your account will be temporarily frozen for 14 days if you have five (5) early call outs or two (2) late call outsSee Frozen Accounts for further details.

 

Five (5) total late Call Outs in a 60-day rolling period OR three (3) No Shows over the lifetime of your account, will result in a deactivated account.

 

  1. Tap the Menu icon in the upper left corner
  2. Tap Schedule
  3. Tap Change view and select Coming up
  4. Select the date on the calendar
  5. Below the calendar, tap the Shift you'd like to cancel
  6. On the Shift Details, scroll down and select "Cancel This Shift"
  7. Provide a note for why you're canceling
  8. Check the box that says "Yes I understand"
  9. Press "Cancel Shift"
