  1. Schedule 1 hr prior to shift

    Usually I check my phone throughout the night to see if I am scheduled for a shift. This time I was not schedule, I slept, woke at 9am and found out I was scheduled 1 hr prior to shift start. And I was placed on a block acct after contacting the facility informing them that I did not get a notification and that i could be there in 30mins. Usually I don't belly ache about things, but this angered me. Due to the fact that there should be a time when it is allow to schedule prior to the beginning of a shift. Just like when facilities wants a 2 hr notice of cancelations. Why not return the courtesy? But by day 4 of this info my acct will be reviewed with nursa supervisors and…

    So I receive notifications via text message about upcoming shifts. when I go to click on the link it says the address is invalid. When I got to look up the facility in the Nursa app it doesn’t pop up does anybody have any tips or know why? Should I try to a different internet server

    When going into facilities act as if you are an actual employee not just passing thru. Assess your patients take care of there needs not put them off. We maybe be there for the hours but there are actual people there who will actually be depending on our care for them. Be attentive and no patient needs you more the the one in front of you. Then move on too the next. Remember the opportunity is a two way street the facility needs us and we need the hrs. Charting is how the make their money and able to call staff in. So chart your skill charting creating pay and more hours for Agency to work

    When will you guys update your app to where if a clinician requests a shift ,that clinician gets the shift???? It shouldn’t be where multiple clinicians can request one shift. That’s how we lose out on the opportunity to make money. I say that because some buildings choose favorites and don’t give others a chance to perform or show what good they are. You’re the only app (registry) that does that .. it’s not right. Also, why are the facilities keeping the shifts posted if a clinician is not needed period?? It’s frustrating because they leave you on requested at times instead of just denying the shift or simply deleting it period. And another thing.. allowing the buildin…

  11. CNA Renewal

    Hello everyone! Has anyone actually took their CNA renewal paperwork to a facility they picked up shifts at and had a nurse willing to sign their paperwork? I’ve been hesitant to go since it’s been a little bit since I picked up and I don’t know if they would even do it. I have all my reference paperwork from the facilities I picked up shifts at as well but I just wanted to see if anyone has had success doing it yet.

  13. Something needs to be done about facilities posting shifts when they don’t need someone to work

    Facilities keep posting shifts that they dont’t need staff for. They post a lot of these shifts as back up if someone calls off. I have had staffers tell me that all their shifts are filled for the next two weeks but have shifts posted on the app. Or I will show up to a shift on time and be told - “well, everyone showed up so we don’t need you”. If you don’t need me why did you book me. I wasted my gas and time to come to your facility but you only booked me as a back up. This needs to stop! Facilities complain that agency staff are not reliable but these facilities are not reliable as well. Nursa needs to do something about penalising facilities for false adver…

  14. Nurses' week

    I was just coming in here to see if I could find anything acknowledging and Celebrating Nurses' Week. As far as I can tell, there hasnt been anything special...if this is true...I have been mistaken in the past...did i miss it??? not to toot our own horns...but we have been called heros...to have a week set aside and nothing has been awarded, not even a mention is downright sad!!! One of the facilities ordered a meal we chose and was delivered by the Administrator at 2am!!!!     That's what I was told yesterday. They said that it's because Nursa is raising their rates...Are you kidding me?!?!? I have built up a rapport with this facility to where they verify my shift immediately after working it, they notify me that shifts are posted, and I communicate with the management team on a day by day bases to assist in making the facility a better place to work at...everything has been going great.   23. Schedule bait hours, HELP!

    How does Nursa support and helps us when Facilities schedule us for 12 hours than when you get here they tell you to do showers only, I’m almost done in total maybe 6 hours. Another Nursa contractor told me they sent her home early too since she was done with showers. I got an Uber for $47 dollars to get here and more than likely another $47 to go back home. After setting aside for taxes x2 since we get taxed double I’m left with technically nothing! It’s upsetting that we are being taken advantage of! Especially since facilities are paying less than $30 now. SMH! I can’t even request new shifts since I was supposed to stay until 6pm the Nursa app doesn’t let me!
